The Youth Talent to Market project team, led by Gecko Programmes designed a non-formal entrepreneurial training pathway aimed at creative makers that are in the early stages of developing a creative business.
The entrepreneurial training pathway was successfully piloted with sixty creative makers from the United Kingdom, Italy and Cyprus, improved and then validated by stakeholders from the three countries as being an innovative training programme that addresses the skills development needs of creative people wishing to market their high value added consumer goods.
The event featured an award ceremony and jewellery and media exhibitions of the artists funded by the project.
We used this occasion to celebrate the achievements of our past mobility participants and offered Mobility Star Awards for:
- Business Development (Youth Talent to Market Beneficiary Chloe Minihane Slater)
- Career Development (KA1 VET Beneficiary Simon Burke, a South & City College Birmingham learner who went to Seville with the Erasmus Plus programme )
- Cultural Engagement (Erasmus+ KA1 VET Beneficiary Ian Malhotra, a Gecko learner who went to Seville with the Erasmus Plus Programme).
